About Me
Kia ora, I’m Gul Hussain Baizada, a tourism professional with over 15 years of experience across Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, and New Zealand. I’ve been living in New Zealand since 2022 and, over the past four years, I have extensively explored and guided travelers around the country.
My journey in tourism began in 2009 through international tourism development projects supported by NZAID. In 2011, I founded my own travel company and later helped develop adventure and sports tourism, including ski tours and the region’s first mixed-gender marathon.
To align my global experience with local standards, I completed a Level 6 Diploma in Travel and Tourism at the New Zealand School of Tourism. Through Gul Scenic Drives, I offer friendly, family-style guiding and scenic journeys that go beyond the guidebook—focused on culture, connection, and New Zealand’s natural beauty
